Celebrating What is Right With St. Aloysius!
Congratulations to the 5th and 6th Quick Recall Team. They defeated St. Andrew 11-7. Congratulations to Sam and Shelby Hall who placed 2nd in the Bullitt County Science Fair.
We have so much to celebrate this Catholic Schools Week! We celebrated Mass on Wednesday and Father Brian gave a special blessing. We had fun honoring people we admire, wearing St. Aloysius spirit wear, dressing up, and especially coming to school in pajamas. Our Student Council Officers represented St. Aloysius at an Archdiocesan Mass at Holy Trinity. It was a great experience and we came away feeling the presence of God in our life and the presence of our greater Archdiocesan community. We are looking forward to singing our Catholic school songs tomorrow and cheering on the faculty (don’t the teachers wish) as they play the 8th grade in the annual volleyball game! Thanks to our families for realizing the value of a Catholic education.
“There are many wonderful educational and formation activities that go on at our school in grades pre-school through eighth grade, and we love sharing with you what makes St. Aloysius such a great school! Our students are challenged each day to do their best; they are nurtured and cared for by the faculty and staff; they are learning in a safe environment, where all are treated with respect; and they are loved!
The sacrifices you make to send your children to a Catholic school are so appreciated. And we do not take these sacrifices lightly. We work diligently to provide a quality education for your children, to provide them with the skills they will need throughout their academic careers, and to instill in them a love for lifelong learning. My parents always told us that “Education was the key” to becoming successful adults. They valued Catholic education, and made many sacrifices to send seven of us to Catholic schools.
Your children truly are gifts and we value each one of them. Thank you for entrusting such a precious gift to us. It is our promise to always see them as children of God and to love them into being the people they are meant to be.”- Mary Alice Zettel, Principal-of-Record
